I teach a level 1 swim lesson class, which is a group of 3-5 year olds. What are some games that I can play with them that are different from the usual floating on your tummy and red light, green light? Please keep in mind that the kids are in 3 and 1/2 ft. waters and they can't touch the bottom of the pool...

  1. Work on things like:

    Bubble jumps

    Streamline

    Shark fin

Between these, take 5 minute intervals and play games like who can blow the biggest bubbles, and who can get the toy the quickest.

Practice jumping in, stuff like who can make the biggest splash.

Make sure you incorporate fun into everything, and remember that they will not have long attention spans.

    Good luck!

  2. Hi..there..Try this web site:

  3. You can play marco polo. (Just make sure you don't close your eyes)

    Tag in the water.

You can bring one of those water balls and let them either play catch or you can throw it and let them race for it.

There's plenty of water toys you can buy in a store. I once bought a set of water balls and a water Frisbee.

You can just let them race and to make it fun you can have small rewards of lollipops or candy which they can eat at home if you don't want to supervise them while they eat (make sure their parents allow them to have candy). You can also have the easy reward of stickers.

You can let them just splash around in the water....everyone I know finds that fun.

If you can find another adult you can give them piggie-back rides and race to see which adult + kid reach a destination first.

    Have fun with your kids!
