What are some gift ideas for my girlfriends 16th birthday?

I want to make her birthday REALLY special since its her 16th birthday in October.... I know its early, but I wanna start early to make sure nothing goes wrong =)

I am willing to spend like 200-300 dollars... I only get $20 allowance a week, so I better start saving soon =/

We have been going out for 6 1/2 months, and it will be 8 1/2 when its her birthday.. What should I get her? Please help! =)
