  1. Practice chipping in your yard. Just throw an object out there and aim towards it. You'd be surprised at how much practicing chipping can affect your entire game. A chip shot should be just like a regular swing, only shorter.

  2. Those won't help much.  Get to the driving range and hit until you can't hit any more.  Perfect your swing, learn how far you can hit each individual club, and spend every hour you can on a putting surface.

Nothing will make you better overnight.  Golf is a frustrating game, and you need to work at it a lot to get better.

Good luck and don't give up too easy!

  3. Go to http://www.playthelie.com and sign up for the 6 week course.

You will then get one drill to practice each week for 6 weeks.

Some really good drills in there especially on the putting and chipping.

  5. For keeping the driver in a good arc try, putting the club cover down parallel to the club and swinging. If you hit the cover you are swinging to outward. For short game practice is key, it is all about repetition to build up consistency.
