I would need to find it in the fridge , cabinet, closet, freezer, wherever. I can put it together, but I desperately want some answers! I'm a vegitarian and my family eats meat all the time. ME? I don't even eat seafood! I don't have a weight problem, I'm only 95. But I'm a health-nut. It just feels better to me.

  1. Any health nut would know that low-calorie food and healthy food don't always go side-by-side.

It's obvious what's not healthy and what is. Eat some carrots. Eat some friggin' potatoes. Even a non health nut can look at a piece of chocolate or cheese pizza rolls and think, "That's not healthy".

  2. cabbidge

    mushroom

    potatos

    walnuts

  3. Calorie counting is outdated. Nuts are high in calories (there are 600 calories in a handful of almonds) but they contain essential fats, vitamins and minerals that you especially need at your age. At 14 make sure you're getting lots of calories. But don't forget the low calorie stuff- fresh fruit and vegetables. If you don't have much money, you could buy tinned fruit.

If you fancy eating something indulgent, why not just have it as an occasional treat? Chocolates and pizza  are not the healthiest of foods but they still provide vital energy. Don't deprive yourself of high calorie foods- enjoy what you eat!

  4. There might be some fruits or some vegetables. Or maybe some saltine crackers. Or rice cakes. Or even a small bowl of Malt - O - Meal Brand Cereal. I dont know what you have, but those are healthy and low calorie foods.

  5. Low fat cheeses, fruits, vegetables, whole wheat noodles. Can you influence your family to buy you stuff? There are a lot of great options for vegetarians trying to eat healthy but still yummy here:

  6. I don't know what your mom has in the house, so I can't answer your question. You need to get yourself an easy veggie cookbook, make a shopping list, then go shopping with your mom, so you can get what you need.

  7. You are a health nut and don't know what's healthy to eat?  Google the vegetarian food pyramid...it tells you what and how much to eat.

  8. Well sorry, but food just doesn't appear...It has to be bought first.  It depends what your family buys.  Take an active rule in the grocery shopping.  Go with and pick out vegetarian things like rice, beans, nuts, seeds, whole wheat bread, faux meats, natural peanut butter...and so on...
