What are some good, interesting beautiful things to do in monterey, CA??

I am planning to go this weekend but were going to go to the aquarium for sure, I just kinda wanna tour the rest of the time. were only going for day! Any one know of and sites or places that I have to go that are free> or cheap???

Since you will be at the aquarium, tour Cannery Row, and then take a drive on 17 Mile drive. If you can, read John Steinbeck's Cannery Row to give you a little history and taste of Old Monterey.
