Question:

What are some good, well known, but inexpensive shoes I can buy for running?

I have shin splints that really won't go away. And my knees and ankles kill on the impact of running.

My tennis shoes that I have now are probably a year old and still look pretty brand new, but I don't think I have enough support (because my legs kill while running).

So my question is, what are some good quality running shoes, but are inexpensive($30-50)? I only say inexpensive because we don't like spending a lot on shoes.

  1. I love my Mizunos.  They have several different shoes from low end to high end.  Just make sure you get fitted for you, i.e. stability, comfort or support.

  2. Unless you have an exceptionally wide foot, do not buy new balance.  Try Nikes, they have all kinds and prices.

  3. Anything from the brand New Balance. It has support cushions.  They can be found at a Foot Locker store.  I had shin splits once and I wish I had a pair.  Good luck I know how they feel.

  4. If i where you i woudl search for a running shoe store around your house, they usually have bins or old models of shoes that are probably on discount.  Dont worry old models are fine, the new ones just look for pretty hahah xD

But if were to recomend a shoe, i woudl probably pick either some kind of Adidas shoe  Maybe the Adidas Super Novas

Or Some kind of Asics, <-- i dont know much abotu asics since i only buy Adidas running shoes, cuz those are the only ones that work for me, But i heard that Asics are pretty good decent shoes.

  5. I used eastbay.com and went to final-score.com from there. It is the clearance section of eastbay. I bought my track spikes from there for 36$ with shipping. So i would look there.
