Like, for example, 0 calorie splenda instead of sugar in cooking, or Powerade Zero instead of sugary drinks...etc.

  1. fresh or frozen  fruits and veggies rather than canned because there is more sugar and salt in canned.

    nuts, trail mix, for snacks.

  2. Water.

    Mmmmmmmmm............ water..........

  3. 100 Calorie snack packs.. there's tons of them.

10 Calorie Jello (sugar free) - Comes in strawberry, orange, cherry, ect..

60 Calorie Jello Pudding (sugar free) - Good for your chocolate fix!

30 Calorie Apple sauce (Motts - No sugar added)

60 Calorie Peaches in syrup (Del Monte - soooo good)

    100 Calorie Quaker Chewy Bars

100 Calorie Kudos bars (also good for your chocolate fix!)

90 Calorie Snack Pack M&M Peanuts

20 Calorie - Propel (grape tastes a bit like a melted grape sno-cone)

30 Calorie - K2O Protein Water (Tea - Very good! and 5g protein!)

Don't forget your fruits and veggies! you can find lots of single serving frozen / refrigerated items that are under 100 cal and VERY filling!

  4. Buy a bag of frozen mixed veggies... add italian spices or seasoning salt... steam and stir.

The whole bag only has 190 calories... half the bag obviously has less than 100.

No dressings or crazy c**p like that... finish it off with some tasty water. ;)

  5. when i was watching my calorie count, i ate a lot of lean deli meats, scrambled egg whites, low-fat popcorn, fruits & veggies, and low-fat canned soups. you can eat a decent amount of any of these & still stay under 100 calories. also, i drank diet soda or flavored carbonated water. good luck!

  6. water, healthy fruit popsicles, fruits, vegtables, Autumn Wheat Cereal, hmm no coke or pop, the coke company lies about thier ingredients, pay a debt every year & still get away with it.

  7. Stay away from deli meat.  It is packed with sodium.  This will make you retain water.  Diet soda has sodium as well and is bad.  Fresh vegs. and fruits, and a well balanced diet, and you won't need to watch so closely.  Get some info from Heart Assoc.  They have great recommendations for healthy foods and the calorie count.
