  1. Go to a movie or a water park or something

  2. have it at a park, parks are free.

For my 13th birthday I had a survivor theme. For the invitations I printed them on the computer and put palm trees on it. When the 10 girls (including me) arrived they put the presents on a table. The main floor was decorated with green streamers everywhere and palm trees. Since everybody knew each other we started the games. First we picked the teams out of a hat; the two teams were called the Tiki Wiki Tribe and the Aloha Tribe. The Tiki wiki's were blue and the Aloha tribe was green. After the teams were chosen they had time to create their team flag. Then we hung them outside to fly in the wind. Next all of us created a t shirt to go with and support your team.  Then it was survivor time The following games were played in the party:  1)Sling shot: We set up blue and green cans. The blue team had to hit down the green cans, and the green team had to hit down the blue team. E.g.: If blue team hit a blue can it would be +10 points. If they hit a green can it was 5 points. 2)Pasta surprise: In this game we got a big bowl of cooked cold pasta and put it in a bowl. 4 snakes and 3 plastic animals were put and mixed into the pasta. The person was blindfolded and the team members could direct them by words to find the toys. The fastest team got 50 points and the loser got 25 points. 3)What food is it? In this game each person was given a certain kind of food and they had to guess what it was blindfolded. Whoever guessed correctly got +10 points. Loser got +0 4)Tug-o-war We went out and bought a thick rope for tugging. 3 members of each team tugged until they pulled each other over the line. Winner got +35, loser got +10 5)Treasure hunt   my sister organized clues put around the block and we went in our teams. We had to find each clue and the next clue would tell you where to find the treasure. There was 1 big treasure box for the winning team, and a smaller prize for the losers. Winners= +55, losers= +25 6)Food eating contest We put out two halves of a watermelon on two tables. One person on each team went up to eat the watermelon as fast as possible. The core had to be pretty clean to. The winner got +100 and the loser got +75 7)Water balloon fight   This is weird it got a bit messy. The guests were dressed either in their swimsuits or clothing. (they brought a change of clothes) Which ever team was the driest when the 10-20 minutes ended, won. Winner=150 points. Loser=100 points 8)Easter egg Hunt    this is the yummy part! No points were awarded here. Each member received a small basket to put their eggs in. Small and big eggs were hidden around the lot and on the main floor. We had 20 minutes to look around. There was a BIG egg hidden somewhere too.  9)Whe's the food? In this game we put out a big tub of water and one person from each team was nominated. The nominated people had to stick their face in the water and try to grab the 3 apples with their mouth. 10)Egg Target  We hung up a big piece of cardboard shaped like a target. The guests stood behind the sidewalk and got 10 points for each egg they scored. Each person got 3 eggs to throw.  11)Pinata   bought a nice fat nata. We got blind folded and hit the pinata with a baseball bat. WE gave out brown paper bags and the guests picked up the candy as it fell. That was all the challenges. The winning team got a prize, and then we had a snack break in between too. After this we had some pizza and pop and cake! Finally we opened presents and the guests went home with all their chocolate.    Decorations: FOOD For the drinks we got cut coconuts in half and skinned them in to a cup. Then we got bendy straws and small paper umbrellas. The drinks were fruit punch and pop. For food we had a big fruit platter, nachos and dipping, and some munchies. We served the pizza on Green Island looking plates with matching napkins. There was also beach colored jello!   MAIN FLOOR I got lots of green and red and orange and blue streamers and hung them up everywhere. I also got these cool paper and inflatable palm trees. I got bamboo and put them on the walls to make it look survivor e like! We also got Hawaiian flowered necklaces for everybody. PEOPLE I bought these hula stringy skirts and bandanas that resembled the team colours. OTHER/OUTSIDE For the invitations I printed it off the computer and then burnt the edges to look like it was survival time! Outside we bought 4 torches and stuck them in the ground. We put mysterious music in the living room as well. We added a green tablecloth and confetti on the Tiki bar. We had a Tiki bar where there were snacks. Pizza was served and they ate outside or in. We also did a limbo game outside! Balloons of green, orange, red and blue were hanging around the walls and floor.

  3. If you're female - I love the idea of having a sleepover with your closest friends and doing your nails and facials and all that stuff. Your money would be spent on renting some movies, buying snacks, and supplies for the nails/facials. Plus your friends could bring their own colors/ingredients too. If you guys are into that thing, you could get a book of "natural face masks" and that type of thing and have a party where you make the stuff. It's more fun than it sounds and it is a bit grown up.

If you are a guy (sorry, can't see your avatar while i'm writing this lol), you can do gorey movies or whatever movies and games you are into.

Though it does sound like you want to do something with more people and out of the house. You can do a search for "under 21 clubs" especially if you live in a metro area. Or what about a day out where a bunch of friends can meet up with you. If you have money or they can contribute, you can do lazer tag. You can also go to a baseball game for about 5 bucks a person in the bleachers, reserve a lane or two for bowling (some cities even have midnight bowling with loud music and black lights if your parents don't mind taking you - they can even drop you off if the place does a lock down (which many do) so strangers can't come in after the bowling starts. You can go miniature golfing, ice skating, etc...all of those things are fairly inexpensive as long as you don't eat there.

Other ideas - call a "color me mine" place where you can decorate your own pottery (not super cheap tho), do a search for local events, if you have a fair going on you can go there. Roller skating can be fun and cheap.

If you and your friends are adventurous, you can set a theme to any of these outings. Require everyone to dress up in 70s style, or goth etc...so that you feel extra goofy and daring while you are running around town!

  4. Take the birthday girl to a beauty stand in the mall with her friends and as a party favor they choose the makeup item that they like most. A boy: Arcade and after his fave resteraunt.

  5. you could go to six flags with some friends

or go to someplace like Main Event

  6. invite all ur franz to a skating place and have a cake and pizza

thats what im doing (im turning 13 to!)

  7. a air juming thing

  8. get some of you friends and throw a  party at a roller skate rink of a bolling ally or something.

  9. When I turned 13 I got to go to the movies with my friends then we had a sleep over that night. It was so much fun.

Plus my mom let us stay up as late as we wanted because it was my birthday.

  10. alot of times people dont need parties they just invite alot of their friends to go the mall with them or the movies or the movies and the mall,

  11. just go to the mall with ur friends get dropped off, then after go to a pizza place ex:pizza hut then hv some cake.

Or go to the beach with ur friends

Go to a hotel but dont stay the night just go for the water park and the pizza.

  12. You could try going to somewhere like an Arcade, or a concert.

    Maybe a movie?

  13. im turning 13 this month on the 17th so this should be easy. If i were you i would take your friends out to lunch and/or dinner and if your a girl have them bring money and go shopping or something.

  14. Arrange your party in a fast food shop. You can also arrange at some bigger house asking your neighbors or relatives.

  15. Step #1: It's summertime! Have a party at your apartment park or a local city or county park! Tell your friends to skip the birthday gifts, but bring a dish: potato salad, 12 pack soda, plates, chips, sandwiches, etc. If it's hot enough, have one friend bring water balloons, one friend bring squirt guns and turn it into a water fight! Check at the park kiosk and ask for a "first come first serve" site. Just schedule your party at 11:00 am to beat anyone else!

Step #2:  Make cheap flyers on your computer. You can get creative by using different font, clip art and borders from Microsoft Word. You can even put a picture of yourself on your flyers. If you're embarrassed, have a friend do it for you! If you don't have the opportunity to hand flyers out, use evite.com - it's FREE!

Good luck! Let me know how it turns out!

  16. Have a really cute immature party!

For my 13 i had a Alice in Wonderland theme.

I dressed up in a little blue dress (it wasnt a 'costume' but it was blue and frilly. Nothing i wouldnt wear outside) and wore a black headband. We went to the park and had a tea party/picnic lunch with plastic tea cups and a teapot that played a happy tune =]

It was really fun and afterwards we went to the public pool (nothing to do with Wonderland but it was fun)

    xx

  17. just have a few friends over, give facials n do eachothers hair n watch movies n pig out on junk food

  18. if you are a hsm fan you can do hsm party or like hannah montana party or if that's not you try hawaii party (munch of stuff at the $1 store) or hip-hop party just play hip-hop music or a sleepover or just movie and popcorn

  19. Chuckey cheeses...where a teen can act retarted

  20. Maybe go to the movies ?

pick a couple of friends so its not that expensive.

If your not a movie person, maybe you could have a shopping party. Invite a couple of really good friends and hang out at the mall and shop around. My mom did that for me. I invited 3 friends and she gave us 30$ each to shop around with :)

    everyone loved it!

or maybe just go to a water park with a couple of friends or even a pool to relax and celebrate :)

Sleepovers are a fun way to have a party. There really in-expansive, and their a blast!

maybe even have a karaoke night :)

    hope these helped !

    & happy birthday :D

  21. It's summer...How about a pool party?  You could also have a party at a restaurant.  Perhaps you can have it at a park.  If you have it at a park the pavilion rental shouldn't be too much...Perhaps you can play volley ball and other sports...or feed ducks or something.

  22. parties are sinful. study, in the long run you will get more from it.

  23. If your apartment complex has a recreation room, see if you can "reserve" it for your party.  Sometimes they do this for free and you have to bring your own food/music and clean up afterwards.  If your apt does not have a rec room, maybe a friend's apt has one they can reserve for your party.

Get about a thousand balloons and rent a tank of helium to fill them up, and tie long ribbons on all of them so the hang down into the room.  Add food and music and you're in business.

  24. I used to run a birthday party business and we had Pre-teen Parties.  Some ideas are:

Fright Night — with haunted stories and dimmed lights to scare the living daylights out of the most intrepid.  Invite only a few people over for a sleepover.

Outrageous Awards — Hosted like the Academys with scripted humour and specialised prizes and star treatment.

Give awards like, funniest female in your grade or someone who can keep a secret or smelliest feet or anything you can think of to make the evening entertaining.  Get your parents to go around playing mocktail waitresses and serve hors d'ouvres.. make people glam it up for the party.  Hire a scout Hall if needed.

Futuristic Success — come dressed and act like you have succeeded in your field 5 years from now. Or for 13 year olds, come dressed as what you want to be when you grow up.

Pyjama Pizazz —  Bring your favourite soft toy & snuggle up to a round table singalong, origami and jewellery-making.

Pamper Party — Dress up, make-up, hair chic & go home smelling sweet, the ultimate in princess pampering. Get a Mary Kay rep to come and give you a facial and make-over... could be part of your birthday present.  Get the other girls to bring what they have and do each other's faces and swap perfumes.

    Well, this is a start!
