What are some good Agriculture jobs in Ohio?

I'm thinking about going to ATI with Ohio State and don't know what field to major in, but I do know I want to do someting in Agriculture.

agrologist - a person who is hired by farmers to tell them what they need to put on their crops - ie weed control - pest control - need to add my nitrate and how much, etc..

to make your garden grow -- my boss has one who stops by at least once a week

There are a lot of good jobs in the agricultural field.  There are many jobs with the government in grain inspection, produce inspection, border inspections of agriculture products, in conservation, and farm loans to mention a few.  There are jobs with universities as technicians and instructors, or laboratory assistants.  There are jobs with commercial companies that develop and sell hybrids and other seeds.  Companies that make and sell fertilizer,   There are jobs managing livestock herds, work with horse barns, etc. Farm service jobs as well as farm managers. If you want to work with agriculture, the jobs are out there.  Good luck to you.

im not exactly sure about Ohio, but i do kno that there are a lot of jobs that are related to agriculture like a Zoologist, Butcher, Mechanic, Horse Trainer, Veterinarian, Floral Designer, Food Processor, Ag Teacher and so many more!=D
