I don't care if they serve dry or wet barbecue.

Dry means without sauce

wet means with sauce

  1. lucils in brea off of the 57 on imperal that s***s bomb!!

  2. there are different types of BBQ. american, middle eastern Korean, etc

There are alot of places off Crenshaw blvd. that are Soul food BBQ.

For Korean try Chung Ki Wa off of Olympic blvd. Gotta try it!

  3. Baby Blue's BBQ on Lincoln in Venice.

It was even featured on Food Networks show:

    Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives!!!!

    so good!!!!

  4. Many people rave about JR's on La Cienega.  I tried it and wasn't particularly impressed.

Sadly, despite trying a number of small places, my favorite in town so far is the Wood Ranch BBQ at the Grove.

  5. Lucille's BBQ is the best. I go to the one in Torrance but they have others (it's family-owned, not a chain) so you can probably find one close to you.

I also love Benny's BBQ on Lincoln Blvd. in Marina del Rey and Serious Texas BBQ on Overland in West L.A. is also pretty good.  Lucille's is still at the top of my list though. :-)
