What are some good Non Profit Organizations to buy from?

My school would like to hold a fundraiser in which we buy cool items from an organization online that donates the money they receive to a worthy cause. I'm having a hard time finding reliable websites...can someone help me out?

basically, you purchase charity funding in another's person's name... it's hard to explain so for instance, for my dad's birthday this year, in his name I'm getting 10 meters of land cleared of land minds, and paying for heart surgery for a baby. He'll get the certificate that the money was donated as my gift from him, and ALL the money goes to the exact cause.

They have so many things to donate for, most for WAY less than $100... saving sharks, protecting land, paying for surgery to save someone's sight, buying medicine, emergency food packs, teaching a mother how to read, funding a place for Indian orphans, there's HUNDREDS of options.

Plushland is a good website.  Just go to plushland.com and you are able to choose between March of Dimes, American Diabetes Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, etc then you choose which plush animal (they have really cool college team animals) you want.  You sell them, get your initial investment back and the rest goes to the foundation you chose.  I have used this site for Cystic Fibrosis, and I really like it.  They have stuff for different holidays, sports teams, etc.

A fantastic site is http://www.justgive.org/html/ways/   One of the links, 'charity malls', has links to several charity malls and many let you choose your cause, or add a cause, and gives hundreds of stores you can buy from that will donate to this cause.

In the military, once a year we are able to donate to any charity we want. Its called Combined Federal Campaign.

Try looking at this website below, it should have a plethora of worthy charities :)
