What are some good Senior Project Ideas?

I really like children (like pre-teens) and want to involve them in the project. I also want the project to be kind of deep and take thought.

Have them set up a "helping troops" school wide thing.

They can make the posters, the collection boxes and lists of the kinds of items... you can ask the younger kids to help out with it and also ask them to write letters. troops love that kind of stuff.
