I just bought a house with a hot tub and inherited a bunch of chemicals with it but have no idea how to maintain the tub. The tub came with Test Strips, Alkalinity UP, Spa Perfect, Chlorinating granules, spa down, spa up, protect plus, and shock. What are some good websites/URL's that explain to a novice how to maintain hot tubs and pools? Thanks

the first place to start is to find the website for the manufacturer of your spa. you may have to open up the access panel to find it, if not listed in an obvious place. next try these:

www.spababes.com(i know, sounds funky, but lots of good info)

www.spadepot.com - parts, troubleshoot, supplies

next would be a web search for 'spa care'
