What are some good acting camps around the Midwest?

Question

I love acting, and I was hoping to go to acting camp this summer but that obviously didn't pan out because I couldn't find any good ones in the midwest on line.

So, to narrow it down, I'm 16 and I prefer acting for stage but acting for camera would be great too. I have taken acing classes at school and have been in many plays, so I'm not like "Acting 101" or anything like that. I can't sing well, so no Musical Theatre camps please. And I would like it to be an overnight thing, not a day camp.

As for price range, I'd like to try and keep it under $1000, but if it is a whole-summer-opportunity sort of thing obviously that's a different story. But don't worry about the price too much my school offers scholarship for camps and what not.

can you say the state then i can help you because i have no idea what you mean by midwest. i can really help :]

Personally I like indpendant lake camp. it is not too expensive but not much acting. You can learn a lot of things here though that could be usefull for acting and they have a musical drama program.  (in PA)

you can also earn collage credits there somehow. (in NYC, LA & VT) very good and fun camp ive been there

in missouri theres ozark actors theater witch i don't know the cost but i heard its good.

There also is a young actors camp. Its expensive but you work with actors from disney chanle like selena gomez, and such. My friend loved it. I'm not sure if its an all summer thing though. And i dont think it has a website

theres also the Pocono Playhouse in Barrett, PA. I know its relly good i thinks its manily musical theater. and i don' think it has a website but i know several people who go there.
