  1. create a maze with boxes, put a fav food in a tissue tube and let the rabbit work at it to get the food.  They love baby car keys and slinkies, old phone books to dig.

  2. Taking you for a walk on leash and harness, competing in showmanship with you (4H or FFA), learning to do rabbit hopping or rabbit agility.  You train them to do the two latter activities just as you would train a dog.

My son and I made jumps for a demo at our county fair.  His rabbit and a few others learned how to do it in a very short time and were clearly enjoying it.  Fun.  :)

  3. HEY JENNA

you can buy a leash and walk them

  4. Buy an x-pen (or even two) and give your bunny daily outings from its cage for several hours or even the entire day.  The pens can be set up in the house in a floor space that is easily cleanable and can be safe there on their own.  You will pay your bunny much more attention and contribute to his socialisation by having around you during the day if you are home.

Bunnies need exercise like most other animals (except maybe CATS!)  They make special bunny hutches out of wicker to put in the pens which they can chew out and hide out in.  They can chew on old phone books and tongue depressors too.

  5. Use a folding pen like they use for dogs to corral your rabbit out on the lawn. Be sure your lawn is not chemically treated. Be sure rabbit has shade and water at all times. Keep an eye on the rabbit because shade can move as the sun moves and you don't want an overheated rabbit.

Be sure your corral is in a fenced area protected from neighborhood dogs and cats. That way if your rabbit gets out of the corral, it is still within the fence.

    Have a good day!
