What are some good activities to do while babysitting a 3 and 5 year old?

I need some good ideas to do with them, so they aren't bored. Also so that their parents would want me back. One's a boy (5) and the other's a girl (3). Thank you!

I would play hide and go seek, finger painting, puzzles, games like go fish and other preschool games. If playing something that she is way too young for ask if she wants to help you, that would work too. Also I spy, my niece and nephews like that game. You can always go to a store like Hobby Lobby and buy stuff for them to do. Kids like to make stuff no matter what their age is.

Bring some new activities with you each time you go to their house so they have something different to do/look at. Kids usually love that!

I would suggest coloring & playdough. Sometimes bubbles are fun-let each of the kids have their own bubble stick and wave it around or blow on it to make bubbles.

If it is nice weather go in the backyard and play or if the parents allow it and you are in  an area that you can do this-take a short walk.  

Read books with them or watch a fun kids movie.

Puzzles can be fun. have a simple one for the 3 yr. old and a more advanced one for the 5 year old.

Play tent/cave-drape a blanket over some chairs and let them be wild animals-most boys would enjoy this and the little girl is young enough that I think she would enjoy this game-the "cave" can be under the blanket or you can pretend you are camping.
