  1. go outside with them and show them flowers and trees and let them explore!

  2. I just got done talking about this in school. I'm taking child development, parenting class, and they have a program where we actually get to teach preschoolers. I also help out in a daycare center in the infant room (6 weeks - 13 months).

Some activities you could do include: tummy time, practicing rolling over, reading books with lots of pictures, paint with their feet (non-toxic paint). You put paint on their feet and put the paper by their feet, and let them smear it. (The paper has to be attached on a clipboard). You could also do sensory bottles, cool whip play, cotton, etc. With infants it's mostly sensory play, and helping them with gross motor development. Remember that with infants repetition helps them. They learn by doing stuff over and over again.

For the older infants you could get big blocks, big jigsaw puzzles, books with lots of pictures, toys that they can push while holding on to them. Teach them how to hold a paint brush, let them color. Have them do sensory and water play (if allowed).

Good luck! I hope everything goes well for you

  3. books with soft fabric inside

wooden bricks to stack up (depends on age

    jigsaw puzzle

sensory products ie fibre optics bubble tubes different textures (sensory room) ie fabrics

    stacking toys

    popiods

  4. well i have a 5  month old son, and i just like to lay him down or hold him in my arms and play with him, his favorite thing to do is patty cake. also he loves his stroller, and looking in the mirror. i dont know why but it amazes him to see his reflection. i just try to pay a lot of attention to him.

  5. I'm not quite sure if it would help every single area of development, but in my experience the cube with the different shaped holes and corresponding shaped blocks, is always fun! The babies love it, and while they are trying to fit the blocks in the holes, I like to point out what color, and shape each one is. Also count how many they have gotten right so far.  They go crazy with smiles when you tell them what a good job they did.

  6. Well it really depends on what age group of babies you are referring to.
