  1. I loved cooking with my mom when i was little!  Try baking brownies or cookies, and let her put the ingredients in the bowl and mix them.  And don't forget to let her l**k the bowl!  There's also an edible play dough recipe made with peanut butter, she'll love that!  Have you tried asking her what she wants to do?  Hopefully she'll give you a simple answer that doesn't use up too much money!!  Good Luck tho!

  2. park

    bikeride

    walk

    swimming

    trip to the beach/forest/national park

    play doh

    Fingerpainting

    Cooking

cleaning(kids love to clean, make the most of it before they grow up)_

    start a veggie garden

  3. reading can be fun.

    taking walks.

playing an imagination game like house or super heroes.

baking with children is always fun for everyone involved.

just spend some time with her. :)

  4. our local library has a nice children's section. they have big comfy chairs, my son picks out a few books and we read. they also have puzzles which he loves. it breaks up the monotony of being home. they also have a bunch of free, yes i said free weekly programs for the little ones. ex. arts & crafts, music, reading. toys r us sometimes has stuff too.

my church has a 10 week program that meets on friday's  that is not only for the kids but great for the adults too.

get some card stock paper and a hole punch. make circles hearts squares whatever with the hole punch. get some yarn (long piece) put some tape around both ends to it wont frey. have her lace it up. its great for hand eye coordination. it will get her on the way to tying her shoes and it's something new.

  5. Park, bike riding, duck pond, movies, reading books, pre-school, etc

Try this website. Family Fun is a great magazine by the way with LOTS of ideas... http://fun.familyeducation.com/games/pre...

  6. Go to the appliance store and ask them if they have any of their refirdgerator large television, stove cartons that haven't been crushed for recycling.  Take it home set it up in the yard then cut out doors and windows in the cardboard.  My daughter who is five now had numerous boxes fastened together with duct tape and she actually had small cardoboard house in our backyard.  It had a livingroom, two bedrooms a play kitchen, a "dining room" and even a "game room".  In the summer time last year her and her older sisters sometimes slept in it at night.  On rainy days we sometimes have scavenger hunts.  Especially after I've had to pick up their toys.  I don't put their toys away for them, I have a box where I put all the toys that are left out and when the weather is bad or they are sick and have to stay they go on scavenger hunts around the house and when they find the item on the list they put it away.  Bake cookies or brownies, let the child help, this teaches them simply math with weights and measures.

  7. I would say.. get a huge piece of mural paper.. put in on her wall in the bedroom and get some finger paints and just have at it at the wall..  do it with her.. kids love nothing more than to do things with their parents.. she will love it..  I know its an artsy thing.. but it wont be boring to her especially if she is going it with you..

  8. I know, Try to give her some music for her to listen, and make her do arts and crafts so they won't get bored easily!

  9. cover a space in the bedroom and giver her crayons markers paint colored pencils etc and go on the wall and do it with her

  10. play in the sprinkler or pool

    bake cookies or a sweet

let her help you make dinner

play board games like candy land

play dress up or make a play to perform for your husband

put on some music and dance around with her

you could do a scavenger hunt around the house

    make an indoor obstacle course

play school and let her be the teacher

make a collage and let her pick pictures out of magazines

make puppets and put on a puppet show

building a fort might be fun

    tea party

    play house

    polly pockets are fun

if you have a big window or a glass door anywhere you can get that window paint which is always fun

ill try and think of some more ideas and come back good luck (:

(the first answer is awesome and im definitly going to try that with my nieces and nephews they would love that, and she is also dead on about kids are just happy when you play with them and dont just watch)
