What are some good adult friendly kids songs?

Question

And I'm not talking Raffi or the Wiggles, or anything vagely resembling that.

If anyone could suggest some popular bands that have a lullaby or a kids album or bands like Trout Fishing in America that would be great. My sanity depends on it!! =]

Also I listen to ALL genres of music so anything you can throw at me then I'll try.

**And I have plenty of kid friendly adult songs, remember I'm asking for adult friendly kid songs - there is a difference!**

You'll find a lot like - Cheeseburger in Paradise, Hot Hot Hot, etc , if you search "toddler" on itunes Imixes.  

Also look into bands like Imagination Movers,Princess Kate and Racer Steve, The Sippy Cups, theres some great bands out for kids, but with adult sounds.  If you search these on something like Itunes, or even Amazon, use the search feature - on "What others bought"  to get more ideas.Plus all bands on Noggin's Jacks Big Music Show.

Oh Barenaked Ladies, and Lisa Loeb just came out with kids cds.  Also checkout the For The Kids series.  The first one is the best.

And forgot the Jack Johnson Curious George CD.  I play that one all the time without the kids.  I buy this and Elizabeth Mitchell for all shower gifts.

I gave up.  My kids listen to Bob Marley....

I can't take Wiggles and things like that either.  I'd rather have a two year old singing Buffalo Soldier any day...they just like the music-the lyrics don't really matter.

My daughter loves Kimya Dawson (check out the Juno soundtrack, it's where the obsession began), and Jerry Lee Lewis. We were watching a documentary on him, and she went nuts! So we bought her her own CD. She also likes Bob Marley, and The Jackson 5. Johnny Cash has a great children's CD out, it's fabulous, and there is a CD called Not for Kids Only: Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. It's super awesome too!
