"Swiss Family Robinson" (Disney) is good, so is "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" (Disney, again).  "Stardust" is just delightful, too!

I'd say that the best family adventure film is "The Princess Bride."  I love that movie with the beautiful Princess Buttercup, her handsome groom, Wesley, an evil wizard, a giant that turns out to be a good guy;  they even have an evil prince!  It's a great little film that the whole family can watch.

The Goonies (old school)  Indiana Jones (although kind of violent). Good question! I like watching cartoons like Shrek and Disney stuff the fam.
