What are some good after school activities?

Hula hoop, running races, crafts, singing, computers and basket ball with a child size hoop. I was an aid in special ed and the kids were high school aged, they loved throwing the basket ball into the hoop, well trying to. Reading time is great fun to and movies. Anything hands on is always fun for them. We started a garden and they help out alot. they got to bring a small plant home to after they got bigger.

try joining your local goat association.  goat showing is an excellent extracurricular activity and looks great on college applications.  i was president of my local chapter, and went on to become president of the state chapter.  now i am on the national council of dairy goats and i travel the world.  it has given me a lifetime of experience in just a few years.
