What are some good alternatives to the now extinct Yahoo news discuss/ message boards ?

Now that Yahoo has decided to permanently do away with its news discuss/ message boards (for reasons they STILL won't honestly disclose), are there any websites out there that are similar? I'm sure the design of the message board was not entirely unique and exclusive, so if Yahoo won't run their message boards regarding the news they post, what else is out there over this vast Internet?

  4. MSNBC runs some message boards that are similar to the yahoo. They are not as good as the Yahoo boards use to be.
