What are some good and bad things about Wi-Fi?

good: no wires of course

bad: can sometimes briefly lose connectivity (annoying), unless you have "all" wireless n components it is slower than a wired connection, certain building materials can also make wireless lose connectivity.

The only bad thing that I can think is to lose the connection some times. Regarding security, there are ways to secure your network from intruders and hackers.

Nate had a good answer. The only other things I can think of are bad.

Easier to hack, especially if the network is not encrypted.

Also generally slower network speeds.
