  1. well to be honest its a very nice place i mean of course just like every where else you got bad people and bad things going on but if you look pass that and ignore it trust me they will ignore you and that's what you want when you go anywhere in mexico. now if you go there with the attitude that this lady wanda has then your gonna run into some people that might not like you anyway good luck.

  2. Click the link below to learn about a downloadable e-book written by a North American woman who moved to Cuernavaca with her Mexican husband.  Cuernavaca is a lovely town close to Mexico city, which is a good and bad thing.  The good: It's a short bus ride to go into DF for shopping, museums, sightseeing and the Ballet Folklorico.  The Bad:  DF is crowded and polluted and more crime than Cuernavaca. And because of the closness, Cuernavaca ets crowded on weekends and holidays with people driving down from DF.

There are a number of Spanish Language schools in Cuernavaca, take advantage of them.  It will make your experience better when you can converse with your neighbors and shop keepers.

Living in Cuernavaca will be almost like living in a resort--the weather is very nice.  The bus system is good.

  3. I've never been to mexico either-

but i was planning a student trip to cuernavaca, I've heard it is beautiful there-

it means eternal spring or something like that.

theres a language school there that people attend from all over the world to better learn spanish.  I cannot wait until I can go.

  4. Mexico is a beautiful place to live, and the lifestyle is much different than you're probably used to in the US. Most of the trouble-and-strife you hear about exists in the border towns, where drug cartels, coyotes, and the like have a criminal stranglehold. But the vast majority of Mexico is quite safe for Americans, particularly if you keep your head about you and don't walk around singing about how rich you are or flashing diamonds. I lived in Mexico for a few months with my wife (who is Mexican) and loved every minute of it, and never had a single problem.

  5. you wouldn't have to put up with all those Mexicans, they are all over here.
