  1. Beans on toast, chips, hummus, potatoes, pasta with tomato based sauce, rice - all should be available in any store and don't take a great deal of cooking.

I like making stuffed peppers, just boil some rice, add veg stock, tomatoes and whatever else you have lying around, grill the peppers and stuff the mixture in.  I don't have loadsa cash either so tend to stick to simple, naturally vegan meals.

  2. all girls need to chomp on some meat from time to time!!

if they dont ...whats the point of having ears!!!????

carrots and beetrooop!   is a goood starting point for u....

    just bware the beetroop stains!!!;-)

  3. hmm, no means of cooking?

sandwiches are the first that come to mind, they require no cooking :) I make some with wheat bread, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, olives, sprouts, with a lil bit of salad dressing to top it off. Better than subway's veggie delight and easier on the wallet too. Add jalapenos in there if you like spice, or add whatever else. Sorta like a salad in wheat bread :)

PB sandwiches is always a winner for breakfast, cereal also with soy milk goes good. Baked tortilla chips and 7-layer dip also is good once in a while.

Spinach wraps also come to mind :)

However it'd be good to have access to a stove or hot plate at least. Buy a hot plate if it's allowed wherever you're living. Also, maybe a rice cooker if brown rice is part of your staple.

  4. if you have the will power you can find good foods to eat and depending on how veg you want to go their is diffrent types of vegetarians not all of us are the same for example I am a lacto ovo vegetarian this means i still eat products with milk and eggs in it this is reasonable for me because most products contain milk and eggs i simply just dont eat meat

it is good to ease in to being a vegan in the first place many start off lacto-ovo and work their way to being a vegan it takes extreme will power to drop it all and be a full vegan

i like things like yougurt spetetti with out meat mac and chees you name it i just dont eat meat  I enjoy morning star products and boca my fav is the spicy black bean burgers

  6. Canned lentils and beans. Traditional Indian food was all vegan, so if you've got any Indian restaurants or shops in the neighborhood use them.

Porridge is good too--for instant porridge bags you only need hot water.

  7. Veganism can be super cheap, but if you have no means of cooking, I can't really offer you much.  Vegan convenience foods are pricey, but whole foods are very inexpensive.  Bulk grains and legumes tend to require cooking, though...

If you can manage spaghetti, though, you must have sooooome means of cooking.  If so, check out the "Student's Go Vegan Cookbook" by Carole Raymond.  It's pretty much geared to the low on funds/low on cookware demographic.

It may be kind of difficult with no means of cooking. You could make really simple foods like:

Bagel with peanut butter, jelly, hummus, etc.

    Fresh fruits and vegetables

    Peanut butter and jelly

    Avocado, lettuce, and tomato sandwich

    Hummus and tomato sandwich

Salad with raisins or chopped apple slices

    Good luck!

  9. Cheap Ideas-

-pb&j sandwiches. Make sure the bread is vegan, obviously.

-Little caesars pizza. 5 bucks! Just no cheese.

-Taco bell. You can get a bean burrito with no cheese for like 89 cents.

-side salads. You can get them anywhere for like 99 cents.

    -PROGRESSO LENTIL SOUP. 2 BUCKS!

    - healthy choice and campbells chunky vegetable soup. Read labels. some are vegan..some aren't.

-Oreos.  They are relatively cheap but I don't reccomend eating them.

-French fries.. from bk or wendys. cheap and easy but I don't reccomend those either.

-spaghetti is good because you can get marinara sauce and spaghetti noodles for like 2 bucks.

I don't know how you are going to eat with no means or cooking or a grocery store...or transportation..You can't even get to burger king with no means of transportation. I'm confused.

-SUBWAY! Veggie delites. 6 inch 2.50..or a footlong for like 5 bucks!

-You can eat campbells tomato soup..or even like a no name tomato soup you can get for .50 cents and just add water. that's vegan. IDK.

-Vegetarian beans and taco shells. Will run you like 2 bucks and could last you a while!

    -Bagels and jelly for breakfast.

    -Cereal with soymilk.

    -oatmeal.

  10. Vegetable sandwich, baked bean...

  11. OK... spaghetti!  With marinara sauce it's vegan.

Waffles!  Just use earth balance instead of butter.

Hummus!  Peanut butter!  Burritos with salsa and corn and olives and jalapenos... mm ok now I'm hungry.  Red beans and rice!

I'm leaving out obvious stuff like fruits, veggies, oatmeal...

  12. Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!

    Vegetarians are evil!!!

Those animals want to die... and what kind of vampire you'll be??

Anyway... I had a vegetarian period in my life... that lasted like six months... no more...

Hmm... Well, since I HATE salads, I used to drink a beverage that had carrots, loolos (or is it lulos?? Naranjillas... whatever!), cucumbers, apples, tomatoes... and it wasn't bad at all... Also, I stuffed myself with milk and cereal...

By the way, are you going to be ovo-láctea?? It would be better... Milk and eggs have a lot of vitamins and proteins that would be really hard to get from vegetal subtitutes...

Anyway... good luck with that... You're protecting the planet where we live in a way I can't right now... I will start my punishment right now...
