the anemones have to be good for beginners. I may get an anemone and put it in with my urchins and 2 clown fish. Any type of anemone that requires medium lighting is what i can get also that will host clown fish and are reef safe. Also tell where i can buy them.

thank you

  1. no anenomes are good for begginers.. and hardly any for a 24 gallon anyway..

you can house fish in a 24 gallon tank though just not many and they can't be over 3''

  2. that tank size is too small for marine fish housing.

  3. none for beginners. Look it up and u will see, just don't go out and buy they will slowly die. The reason i say this tried it , should have done research.so that is what I do on everything I buy for my saltwater tank. I suggest u do the same for the good of the anemone

  4. white sebae anemones are generally good for beginners and clown fish love them! these can be found at petco because i bought some not too long ago. also the purple base anemone is also a good one but it gets really large and it began to overcrowd my tank so you could maybe keep it trimmed. those are two that i really like though and both anemones are reef safe and don't need fancy lighting. i got the purple base anemone at a local aquarium store so u might need to shop around for that one. Good luck
