What are some good anime shows

Question

what are some good anime shows? i want anime shows like pokemon; kids around my age (11), fiction, and some romance. i don't want anything with fairies or mermaids or anything like that

I like Naruto- A ninja who is ALWAYZ underestimated but is MUCH more then he seems BEST ANIME....

Bleach- Really good!!!

Sailor Moon- AWESOME

Mermaid Melody- May have mermaids but its a GREAT ANIME trust me!

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge - Very good really good(just finished watching it)

Rurouni Kenshin- (i havent watched it yet but they say its GOOD)

Ouran Highschool Host Club- Great anime with romance all of these have a little or alot of romance great animes

I watched this when I was ur age. It has romance, action, humor, great characters, good plot. After watching 100's of anime, this is still my favorite.

Here's a short teaser summary - Miaka, a normal high school girl finds a mythical ancient book in the library. Her and her best friend open it and they get sucked in the book and find that the story is about them.

Okay, I don't want to give too much away. Just watch the first episode, I even gave you the link. The whole series is around 50 episodes, and it's engaging and surprising from beginning to end. MUST WATCH.

Other good anime are

Inuyasha - very popular, you probably watched this. It's about a half demon who falls in love with a mortal. Pretty good.

Death Note - A smart high school boy finds a special notebook that gives him the power of a shinigami (god of death). The story line will keep you in the edge of ur seat. Very intelligent plots and schemes.

Elfen Lied - if you are in to the horror genre, this will be good. The story starts out really gory, but as the story continues, it become really sad. You cry for the characters, it's a really good story. It does have nudity (but it's not a s*x scene or anything bad) it begins with a girl with a mask with no clothing and she walks around with special powers that can kill people from a distance. But this story is not all killing, there is a touching story behind this. Only 13 episodes, nothing nasty, really good story.

Spiral - you watch and become amazed by how smart this guy is. It's worth a watch, keeps you engaged, but didn't have a good ending (25-ish episodes) Still worth watching. It's about a guy who lives in the shadow of his genius brother who has gone missing. He solves so many puzzle and passes tests to help solve the mystery blade children.

But watch Fushigi Yuugi, the best anime.
