Rahxephon is awesome and Gungrave is my favorite anime period. They are kind of like Noir (only better) at least they are alike in tone. Hellsing is alright too, but not as good.

Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are also must sees and are more or less similar to Full Metal Alchemist (I'm really saying that they are similar in tone again though).
