What are some good bands that combine rock and rap?

Like Rage Against the Machine and the Beastie Boys, both of which are asskickingly awesome.

Unfortunately, I feel that because Rage and the Beastie Boys are so individual and unique, there aren't many other similar bands out there. *tear*

edit: ggallin, get your facts straight, you are wrong about at least 3 things:

1) I mentioned RHCP first.

2) Their name has one 'l' in chili, not two.

3) Their last 3 albums are far from 'lame,' and imo and those of many other Peppers fans, the band are actually now at their musical and creative peak, and the last 3 albums since Frusciante rejoined the band are classics, and up there with BSSM.

edit: sorry dude, i see you corrected your mistake. and ofc you're welcome to ur opinion, BSSM does rule but I think their later albums are class as well.

God, I can't believe that nobody has yet mentioned the RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS!!!!  Their early stuff was heavy on rap/funk/rock.  In fact, I'd say they were the closest thing to RATM, musically.  Check out Blood Sugar s*x Magic - it's awesome!  Their later stuff is much more lame :(

You are right...there aren't any bands that are similar to Rage because they are so unique and awesome.  Many have tried but failed.  Try the Loud Rocks CD compilation...it has some really great collaborations between some sweet rock bands and famous rappers.
