What are some good bar specials?

I am opening a small neighborhood bar. I was wanting some suggestions on what kind of drink specials people want to see at a bar. I am looking for ways to to promote my bar. Your feedback is very appreciated

WHERE I AM FROM(wisconsin) we have 'Bucket Night"..5 beers/5 bucks... on your B/D people can drink all the rail or taps for free...On Saturday from 7 to closing-at this really awesome bar...all the beer you can drink 10 a person-all the rails 15...think about it-by 7 pm..usually people are pretty much on thier way-at anyrate-GOOD LUCK !!

Flavored frozen margaritas are always a hit.  My favorite is Mango, and it seems to be everyone's favorite:) ...  Here, in Texas, alot of the restaurant bars have layered frozen margaritas (2 different flavors, in multi-layers) ......  If you can get a soft-serve ice cream machine, drinks in those are WONDERFUL!  And people tend to drink ALOT of them, since you don't taste the liquor:)  Frozen pina coladas, grasshoppers or pink squirrels would be fabulous as soft-serve drinks........

What region of the country are you in? Do you want a wine snob crowd, college kids, regular manual labor folks? Is your main focus to make a ton of money in a few years and sell or stay long term? Is it in a commercial area or residential? More info would help us be able to help you.
