What are some good barn names for a horse named JD Sunteena?

She is a palomino mare. Please no "Sunny," though.

I would take a list of names that you like and see what you think fits her. She doesn't have to have a barn name that is related to her show name.

I have to agree, Sunny is alittle too generic, you probably want something that fits more with her personality.

Sun Tea -- a crisp, refreshing summer drink that makes folks smile...or Teena -- a girly name...

It's hard to think of call names for horses without knowing their personalities!  I like to get to know a horse before I give it a call name...

Many horses are given barn names based on their personality..so it would be hard for us to say what she is like...that would be you!!

There is a horse at my barn whose name is Jack Daniels and we call him "J.D."...so, what about "J.D."?.. It's quick and easy and already a part of her name.

Otherwise most people are going to say the obvious.."Goldie", "Blondie"...There's "Snickers".. it's endless!!

A barn name isn't something you can just ask about over the internet. A mare I once rode was nick-named "devil's angel" because on the ground she was an angel, but she turned into some kind of demon as soon as I mounted! Another horse I rode, a paint, was nick-named "Mighty Mouse" or "Mighty" because he was so short but he was fast and thought he could boss other horses around. One of my friends horses is named "Splash" because whenever she bathes him, he always gets into strange positions to avoid having the water hit him. So,  a barn name isn't a name for us strangers to make up, a barn name has to be acquired over time, because of experiences.
