  1. flow has some good ones and they're REALLY easy to strap into, actuall there ARE no straps. it has one peice tht comes around the front and then a plastic/metal flap in the back. sounds weird when i describe it but they're nice and i'm always ready to go way before my friends are off the chair

    check um out: http://usa.flow.com/bindings/index.html

  2. FLUX, handsdown...all these guys do is make bindings and I think some of the best out there...they just seem to choose not to put that much money into advertising. I gues money goes into research...check out their website www.flux-bindings.com they rate them in all kinds of ways, flex is one of them...i own the Super Emblem Flannel and it is a really great binding...loose enough for jibbin around but even solid when ridin the pow

  3. Missions, or Cartels.  I've never ridden Customs, but I know people who ride pretty well in them.  But, I've heard that the better you get, they're no longer worth it.  I've seen a thread on the Burton message boards (BMB) bashing the Customs.  Some guy made a joke, "Nine out of ten experts believe than Customs are terrible for park.  This is what happened when the tenth one took his Customs to the park: (insert picture of nuclear explosion)."  So yea.  Anyways, I say churn out the money for some Missions, or if you are willing to drop another $30, get the Cartels.  Cartels are stiffer than the missions.  From what I remember, the backs on the Missions flex a lot more than the Cartels.  Part of the reason why the Missions are more of a park binding, and the Cartel is geared toward an aggressive rider.  If you have a bottomless wallet, I've heard that the Triads are just Cartels with  extra padding.

Don't get Flows.  Who cares if it doesn't have straps, it has a moving back that the rest of the binding industry doesn't use.  That's among a truck load of other reasons why not to get Flows.

Anyways, Missions or Cartels.  Missions are more geared for park, but you can surely rock Cartels too.

  4. Burton Cartel

  5. I'm going to agree with this gentlemen above me. I own a pair of the 08 cartels in the winterfresh mismatch color.

NO lie at all the cartels definitely had a big part in improving my riding. I was rocking Burton customs from like 4 years ago and they were fallin apart, the 1st day,  with the cartels I was  180 b/s nosepressin this box @ my local mountain that i had been trying to for like 2 weeks. The high back on the cartels is sick. Its called a "living hinge" you can adjust your FW lean in like 2 seconds.  The responsiveness is just really crazy. They are so fricking cushy. Its like snowboarding on pillows. one more thing.,the gas petal on the cartels is also like a nice squishy soft pillow.  They work great in the park, and all mountain also. I would recommend the Burton Cartels to anyone, and they are on sale right now @ zumiez for 170. DO NOT compromise for cheaper bindings, rob someone, get a second job, go beg for change b/c you will ride Betta once you have the cartels

K2 also came out with a sick pair of bindings this year, Called the auto bindings. Check em out on You tube, they have a little video on there showing how they work, its  a sweet concept.

THe Rome targa bindings are sweet this year, any you can rock them @ 0 degrees lean and that is uncommon these days. Even the cartels @ 0 on the bindings are a positive 3.  Really doesnt make that much difference tho...

The High end ride bindings are also good this year and are virtually indestructible.. Now you have some options dude> Good luck on the hunt and Happy Shredding

  6. Burton Cartel's are awsome for that type of riding. They are great in the park, and on the rest of the mountain, and they are very durable. I have the Burton Mission bindings, and they are awsome, just one problem with them- they are falling apart a little. that is why i would recomend paying the extra 30 or so bucks to get the cartel which is much more durable.

I have also heard that drake bindings are good, but im not sure.

Just go into a shop, and try to find somethin LIGHT WEIGHT, DURABLE LOOKING, and make sure it has a decent structure and strap in system.

  7. Burton Custom, Mission or Cartels, depending on you budget.
