  1. If you are into fantasy, then you could read the Cleric Quintet by R. A. Salvatore.  That's an awesome book series, even though I never finished the fifth book.  Going to have to break it out and finish it one of these days.

  2. A fascinating biography that you could finish in a week is "Ibn al-Haytham: First Scientist" by Bradley Steffens. It tells the inspiring, true story of a medieval Muslim scholar who overcame bouts of mental illness to develop the scientific method two hundred years before the Europeans learned of it—by reading his books. The author just received the Theodor S. Geisel Award for the best book published by a San Diego County author last year. You can find reviews of the book and a sample chapter at http://www.ibnalhaytham.net/ Enjoy!

  9. why don't you get a book that you read in the 8th grade.. that's what i did when i was in the 9th grade, because a lot of the books they have in the 8th grade they have in the 9th grade...but usually if you get a book you really love, you can read it in like a week or 2

  11. Cirque du freak by darren shan!!!!! ive been reading them for only three weeks and im on the 6th one. its not for the frail hearted and you have to be kinda emo and love blood and guts but i love them.its about a boy who goes to a freak show. he steals a magical poison spider. only one man has the antidote and he will not accept ant thing in return for the antidote. darren must become a vampire to save his friend. he does and the rest of the story is so good this post would take up the whole web site lol you should really try it i would reccomend it to anyone in the world exept those who scare easily or get grossed out. i cant expresss my feelings when i read the books. it is such euphoria that it cannot be explained in words.
