What are some good books on facial animation?

My personal favorite is Stop Staring: Facial Modeling and Animation Done Right by Jason Osipa.

I'm always on the look-out for good character animation books.

  1. You just said it - that's the best one available specifically for facial animation (by far, I think). :)

    Though it's not for 3D animation in particular, the best general character animation book I have is The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams, which is filled with concepts 3D animators need to know as much as traditional animators. My computer animation tutor strongly recommended we all read that and Stop Staring. Another I like is "Character Animation: 2D for better 3D" by Steve Roberts.
