What are some good books?

Iv already read the twilight series and loved it iv read anne rice as well so what do you suggest please give me a few also anything to help me understand philosophy would help me too thanks again

Well, I'm currently reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's sort of philosophical in a way. It's about this needy, clingy woman who has finally divorced her husband and sets off on a trip to Italy, India, Indonesia to figure out who she is and to find God. It's not really based on a religion, per se, but she uses Yoga to help her find her "God". I'm not particularly a religious person and I usually steer clear of books about such. But this book is rather charming as it is told from the author's perspective, diary style, and she has a pretty good sense of humor. Also, a lot of what she talks about can be integrated into anyone of any religion. I am VERY please with this book so far and I can barely put it down!

Also, a good book (though different from the types you listed) is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult (she is a wonderful author). It's about a girl and her sister who has leukemia. She refuses to give her sister her kidney and goes to court for rights to her body. One of my all-time favorite books!
