  2. "witches" by rhold dahl (sp)

  3. Any book that hillary wrote could give you some great guidelines

  4. the real witches... by kate west i have that but its also you need to practise to become a better witch not just read.

    blessed be

  5. The books you name are all good.   Continue your studies, but DO things as well.   Make a Book of Shadows, try herbal remedies, work with stones/crystals, learn astrology----take some classes at a local metaphysical shop.

Don't be a weekend witch.  You need to live it everyday

  6. anything by Gerina Dunwihch

  7. Some books I would recommend for your library are:

"Ancient Ways: Reclaiming Pagan Traditions" by Pauline Campanelli and Dan Campanelli

"Wheel of the Year: Living the Magical Life" by Pauline Campanelli and Dan Campanelli

"Drawing Down the Moon" by Margaret Adler

  8. No book will make you become a "better witch".  It is you applying the lessons you learn (from books, and nature, and elder witches) to your lifestyle and practice that helps you improve your skills.

What are you trying to become better at, exactly?  Spellcasting?  Divination?  Some form of healing?  It would help to know that much in order to recommend appropriate books to you.

  9. Well, if you are interested in the Wiccan tradition, I'd recommend anything by Scott Cunningham, Anne Murphy Hiscock or Konstantinos.  I'd also (in my opinion) suggest avoiding Silver Ravenwolf like the plague!  I know many witches like her, but I don't.

  10. if you are not a beginner then any advanced book will help but the best witches are the ones who have practiced enough to create their own spells & rituals for all seasoned witches know that these are the ones that will always work best for them!

  11. You can't become a "better" witch through any books.  You need to practice meditation, visualization, breathing techniques, etc.. Keep a journal of all the magic(k) that you try and keep track of all the results.  Keep track of all details concerning: the moon phase at the time you did the ritual, day, time, tools that you used, etc..

Remember, the best spells are often the ones you create yourself.

Read tips and techniques other witches use in their work, but try to be somewhat original as well.
