  1. Children with Disabilities 6th edition

This book cover EVERYTHING you need to know about special education, mental retardation, rights, ...IT is worth buying!!

  2. Confessions of a Shopaholic - Twenty-five-year-old Rebecca Bloomfield is in love ~~ with shopping! She has maxed credit cards and an incredibly overdrafted bank account. But, surprisingly, this does not stop her from frequenting shops and cafes during her lunch hour. Rebecca is aware of her problem, however, and tries to do better. Her schemes for cutting back, saving money and making more money are downright funny, inventive and quite honestly, desperate.

(This book is part of a series just to let u know)

Gossip Girl - At a New York City jet-set private school populated by hard-drinking, bulimic, love-starved poor little rich kids, a clique of horrible people behave badly to one another. An omniscient narrator sees inside the shallow hearts of popular Blair Waldorf, her stoned hottie of a boyfriend, Nate, and her former best friend Serena van der Woodsen, just expelled from boarding school and "gifted with the kind of coolness that you can't acquire by buying the right handbag or the right pair of jeans. She was the girl every boy wants and every girl wants to be." Everyone wears a lot of designer clothes and drinks a lot of expensive booze. Serena flirts with Nate and can't understand why Blair is upset with her; Blair throws a big party and doesn't invite Serena; Serena meets a cute but unpopular guy; and a few less socially blessed characters wonder about the lives of those who "have everything anyone could possibly wish for and who take it all completely for granted." Intercut with these exploits are excerpts from www.gossipgirl.net (the actual site launches in February), where "gossip girl" dishes the dirt on the various characters without ever revealing her own identity amongst them. Though anyone hoping for character depth or emotional truth should look elsewhere, readers who have always wished Danielle Steel and Judith Krantz would write about teenagers are in for a superficial, nasty, guilty pleasure. The book has the effect of gossip itself once you enter it's hard to extract yourself; teens will devour this whole. The open-ended conclusion promises a follow-up.

    (Also a series)

It Girl - Jenny Humphrey, kicked out of Constance Ballard prep school for being a bad influence, decides she'll do anything to become one of the popular girls at Waverly Academy. Like the author's Gossip Girls series, the story is full of underage drinking, smoking, foul language, snarkiness, and label dropping. Sleeping around is casually accepted. Jenny rooms with two almost interchangeable big names on campus: Brett, who falls for the uber-rich newbie teacher, and Callie, who manipulates both Jenny and her boyfriend, Easy. The two girls are barely speaking because each one blames the other for their friend Tinsley's expulsion. Fearing that she will also be kicked out, Callie talks vulnerable Jenny into taking the blame when Easy gets caught nearly naked in their room. But Jenny is as attracted to Easy as he is to her. The school's dirty little secret is that you can get away with almost anything as long as you are from a legacy family of donors, which may explain why Tinsley is being reinstated at the books' end-just in time for a sequel. Jenny's references to Old and New Jenny are more confusing than illuminating as is the starry-eyed innocence that uncharacteristically peeks out of her persona at convenient times. Pass on this paean to possessions, perkiness, and ample b*****s for something more substantial, unless you have insatiable Gossip Girl fans.

  3. How to install a DVR.  I am Sooooooooo happy.

  5. Well, it depends on what type of books you like to read.

I Enjoyed "John" By Cynthia Lennon. It was a bio on John Lennon, a band member of the Beatles and peace activist- written by his ex-wife. It had her perspective of his life and a bit of her own autobiography.  If your facinated about him it's a very informative book.

"The Series of Unfortunate Events" By Lemoney Snicket, is very good. It's a story about three orphans being sent to gardian that plans on stealing their decised parent's fortune. It maybe a kid's book but I fond it interesting.

"Alice, Through the looking Glass" By Lewis Carrol, is basicly when the little herione Alice falls into the looking glass in her living room and romps around a magical make belive land. Very good story, it's also considered a children's book.

  6. Tomorrow When the War Began - John Marsden.

About a group of teenagers who go out into the Australian bush for a few days, and when they return home, Australia has been invaded by another counrty. They retreat to the bush again It is a really good book by a really good author.

The Catcher in the Rye - J D Salinger

An old book but really good, about a boy called Holden Cufield who doesn't really fit into any of his schools and their social elites, even though he is very smart.

When We Were Saints - Han Nolan

About a girl who believes that she is a saint, and a boy who follows her because he is in love with her. However, the girl has serious metal problems, though the boy nd the girls father refuse to recognise them.

Catch Me If You Can - Frank W. Abagnale

The autobiography of an amazing criminal. The movie was based on this book, and the book is really good. I read it for an English class but it is a really good story, especially if you are into crime, but even if your not it's still a great read.

    The Outsiders - S. E. Hinton

Another older book, but still really good and well worth a look. Fairly easy to read, it tells the story of a group of working class teenagers, and the culture that they live by, which affects who they can talk to, who they can hang out with and who they have to hate on principle.

    Sold - Patricia McCormack

About a girl who gets sold into s*x slavery by have stepfather. Tells her story and what these girls have to go through.
