What are some good boy and girl baby names?

Question

My last name is Schmiesing (shh me sing). Some names are hard to say with my name, for instance Alisha Schmiesing is hard to say. Also, I'm trying to find a shorter first name for the child, since our last name is soooo long. Any help would be appreciated!

Coming from someone who's been there, having too long names isn't such a burden to bear. Both my first and last name have eight letters, and the only problem I had was remembering how to spell my last name.
