What are some good brands of 100 watt stereo floor speakers?

I'm putting together a stereo system (with phonograph/CD/cassette/TV set, etc.) and would like some opinions on good sounding speaker brands. I understand I won't know for sure unless I listen to them myself but, I'd like to know what any of you might have bought and enjoy using.

b&w,kef, go to a hidh end stereo store look,listen and get some ideas then by them used you can save 1/2 or more ip to 2/3 off

BIC Acoustotech HT-75 Towers: $280 for the pair!! These are an example of speakers that sound 10 times better than Bose, but cost one tenth the price. Your choice.
