  1. You want to go to the Virgin Islands and you want to go CAMPING?... do you have ANY IDEA what is crawling around at night in the Virgins?

  2. When you say "campgrounds" I'm not sure just how rough you want to go.  My favorite is Cinnamon Bay campground on St John.  They have everything from small cottage type cinder block units with beds to campsites with tents, to bare sites where you supply your own tent.  These are all located just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.  This is the most rustic of the campgrounds.  There is also Maho Bay Camps and Concordia Eco-tents.  These are small well equipped units with beautiful views.

The other one I know of is Brewers Bay campground on Tortola, BVI.  This is a tent campground right on Brewers Bay which is a wonderful beach for swimming and snorkeling.  I have visited Brewers Bay but not actually stayed at the campground.  I can not vouch for the safety or the amenities.

I will say that all campgrounds on St John are very safe. At Cinnamon Bay there are lockers available for your security.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Definately St. John Island, they have several.  Beaches are beyond compare.

  4. good

  5. Of the three USVI's, St. John has beautiful campgrounds, and Maho Bay is a neat eco-camp--you'll love it!

  6. You'll find campgrounds on St. John and St. Croix.

On St. John there are two campgrounds:  Cinnamon Bay and Maho Bay.

On St. Croix there's Mount Victory and Northside Valley.
