  1. I once went to an ocean themed wedding where the candy favors were saltwater taffy pieces. And, I went to a wedding where the bride and groom had M n Ms customized with their initials, their wedding date and their wedding colors, and then they packed them up in little satin satchels and put them on each table as favors. Also, Jelly Belly jellybeans are a no-fail candy favor! You can get them in your wedding colors too. I also attended a wedding where fortune cookies were given as favors and the fortunes inside were customized to say the name of the couple and the date of the marriage. good luck!

  2. For the favors:

mints - after dinner mints or starlight

    hershey's kisses and hugs

or have a candy bar with everything ;-)

  3. I recently coordinated a wedding and we just had a bunch of differnt candies in pretty dishes with spoons and let everyone make thier own goodie box.  The guest had fun and we found candies in the color scheme of the wedding.  I was a beautiful display.

  4. Lemonheads. Or, Sweet-tarts.

  5. We went to Hobby Lobby and got these candy molds that had the two hearts intertwined together and then we got the candy disks that you melt down and poured them into the molds, everyone loved them.  You can get them in all sorts of different colors and I think the candy you can get in chocolate, dark chocolate, vanilla and maybe butterscotch.  Otherwise you could always go with Hershey Kisses, you can go to their website and get them customized but they are a little pricey, you could also do like those dinner mints and wrap them up in tulle or something like that.  Whatever you choose candy is a great favor!  Everyone likes candy! LOL  Good Luck!!

  6. Fix up a candy bar. Buy a bunch of pretty glass jars and fill them up with different candy that come in your wedding colors and provide your guests with goody bags so they can fill them up with the candy they like when they're leaving. Its pretty inexpensive and you can buy the candy in bulk at different places online.

  7. You can put after dinner mints or any type of candy, such as M&M's (will melt in your container and not in your mouth if reception is outdoors during the summer!), jelly bellies, jordan almonds inside a container which matches your wedding's theme.

Examples of containers include: a small box, pail, tin, satin bag or gift bag.

  8. Oh gosh, the possibilities are seriously endless.

Personalized M&M's are really popular right now.

Beau-coup.com has so many things that are so cute:

My favorites tend to be the ones that have some sort of personalization. Like personalized candy bars for the next day, or mini cheesecakes or petit four with the couple's initials on them.

Anything that will last you can stick in a cute box or wrap in some tulle: chocolate covered almonds or raisins, vintage candies like Mary Janes or Sugar Daddies would be cute. Or you could do what we're doing have have a candy buffet table with little boxes, and guests can choose their own (we're candy fanatics, so this worked best for us).

  9. I think you should be unique and make white chocolate decorations on a clear box or cute little bad something that will represent your theme and colors of your wedding as favors I think that awesome. Good Luck
