  1. I recommend Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate.  Also the cleaning wipes and Germ Off Disinfecting Wipes which kills 99.9% of E. coli and Salmonella bacteria.  The Basic H2 is nontoxic, superconcentrated, biodegradable , natuural and no phosphates.  The Germ Off Wipes cleans, deodorizes, free of bleach and alcohol, and disinfects.

  2. I use Comet spray gel...has no harsh smells...

  3. We've been getting away from chemicals in cleaning, and I have a great recipe for a home-made cleaner that is less expensive than the store brands, and works better, and doesn't leave chemical odors.

In a large spray bottle (24-30oz or so), pour 2 oz natural dish soap (we use 7th generation brand), 14 oz vinegar, 2 oz lemon juice, 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil, and fill the rest with warm water. Shake it gently before each use, and it is fantastic! It gets rid of odors, cleans great, and I know it won't harm my family or my pets, unlike commercial cleaning products.

This cleaner is an "all purpose" type solution - we use it on just about everything.

Good luck with whatever you decide on though. :)

  4. I love Cinch!  I bought it initially, for streak free cleaning on mirrors and windows.  But it is wonderful for lots of other hard surfaces as well!  My granite counters, stainless sink and stove top, quick touch ups on bathroom floors----you name it!

It does a nice job of cleaning, dries streak free and has a pleasant fragrance.  What more can you ask?  :)

Another product I use in the bathroom is Old English Lemon Oil.  I keep an old sock saturated with it, sealed in a zip lock bag, under the bathroom vanity.  I use it to shine up clean surfaces like chrome shower tracks and faucets.  It prevents water spots from forming, especially in difficult to clean areas.

It too has a lovely fragrance.

  5. Try the Method line of products found at Target.  They are natural and smell great.

  6. Try using Clorox disenfecting bathroom cleaner, I love it I use it to clean my bathrooms sinks, around the toilet, and the shower/tub.

It has such a nice clean smell, I also use comet to clean my tub.

For the toilet bowl, I use clorox toilet bowl cleaner has a small smell, not harsh at all.

For the floors I use pinesol lemon, has a very strong smell of lemon or pine or whatever scent you buy, but thats all. Very clean smell

Hard stubborn stains in the bathroom, I use mr. clean magic eraser, no smell at all

Mirrors, glass, stainless steel: windex :)
