What are some good coastal cities/towns in India to live in?

Not too congested, but still with modern city resources? A place with greens (nature) a plus. Thanks so much for suggestions.

haha make sure bombay isnt one of them if u sont want congestion

i would suggest looking somewhere near the deccan area, like in Goa, and wouldnt advise the far south.

Im currently in Kodaikanal for over a year, and honestly, I had the same wants as you, but Im sick of the green...

If, however you DO want a southern option, try Cochin, Kerala,  Munnar, Kerala(not coastal but amazing nontheless)

or you could opt for a shot in Tamil Nadu near Pondicherry

If you want a northern area, somewhere arounf Kolkata shouldnt be a problem...
