What are some good college level books?

My english teacher told me my books were too easy for my age. over the summer i read the Twilight books, Lovely Bones, Virgin Suicides, and The Host.

So what books do you recommend that are college leveled?

  1. If you are looking for something other than the classics I would recommend The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.


  2. The Fountainhead (Or anything by Raynd)

    Crime and Punishment (Or anything by Dostoevsky)

    One Hundred Years of Solitude (Or anything by Marquez)

    Grapes of Wrath (Or anything by Steinbeck)

    Emma (Anything by Austen)


  3. Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom

    To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

    One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey

    The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

    Those are just a few that I like. I also like anything by John Grisham or Dan Brown. Jodi Picoult is pretty good too. Personally, it is best that you read something that you actually like instead of reading a book that is hard to relate to. Reading something is better than reading nothing in my opinion.
