What are some good colleges to get a fire science degree and a history degree?

I wanna be a fire firefighter and if that doesn't work out i wanna have something to fall back on.I wanna get a fire science degree to help me become a firefighter.I might wanna become a teacher if firefighter doesn't work out but i still don't know.

  1. First, check with the fire department you would like to work for and find out what kind of jobs you can get with various levels of education. You also need to find out what the physical (strength, etc.) requirements are.

    You are wise to get a degree in something in addition to firefighting because of the physical requirements for firefighting that will be harder to meet when you grow older, and because firefighting is a dangerous occupation that can lead to injuries that could make you unable to continue to work in that field.
