What are some good community service activities to get involved with?

I volunteer for S.N.A.P.S.  (Spay and Neuter All Pets and Strays).  They need help desperately.

We spay feral cats and strays as our local dog pound is a kill facility and all new animals that come in, cause other animals to be put to death.  Since I love animals, it is a way to help out.

Even if you donated food to this program, shelters, or other programs like it, it would be saving lives.

what i do is:

volunteer at the retirement home

tutor at and elemantary school

tutor at the public library

shevle books

walk to shelter dogs*

help out in the childrens ward at hospital*

community clean ups

American Red Cross

serving food at the soup kitchen

and organize beach clean ups.

*must be 16 or older to do in the U.S.

i love doing all of these things on like a daily/ monthly bases so try some of them out.

Going to a hospital, daycare, church. Anywhere and asking them if you can do something. Food drives and soup kitchens are good. animal shelters... I like kids so anything with kids I will do or in a hospital. Its what you like
