What are some good costumes for these different groups in a costume class?

We are not sure exactly which of us are going to go together but two of my friends and I are thinking about doing a costume class together in a show (not until October, but I just want some ideas). We really want to do something that really has to do with the number of people.

We might do:

3 people, 1 horse

3 people, 2 horses

2 people 1 horse

Does anybody have ideas for some of those combinations? Thanks! :)

For any of the combos:

Wizard of Oz characters (the horse could be the lion)

Cat in the Hat (The horse would be the Cat and You could be Thing 1, Thing 2 and Thing 3)

Three Men in a Tub (The horse could be the Tub and you could be the Three Men)

Even though its october ur horse could be a reindeer and u could be elves!

3 people 2 horses - definitely a King & Queen with their squire

2 people 1 horse - a jouster with his squire

the peoples costumes are fairly easy to find online and at renaissance faires/shoppes. And for the horses, you would add sort of a bunting to the reins, and breast collar, and a fancy saddle blanket. Try watching some renaissance theme movies for references. Have fun!
