I'm so sorry for your heart ache.  There is almost nothing you can do but ride it out.  I have felt it and it sucks.  I think your doing ok though or you wouldn't even be motivated enough to ask this question.  Try to think of it this way.  Some day down the road you will meet the person of your dreams.  You will get that same magical feeling.  You will be able to look back on this person and say.  "Thank goodness I didn't stay with them or I wouldn't be with you now."
