What are some good day care centers for kids with special needs?

I am looking for a good daycare center that i can enroll my child into for saturdays and sundays. He is 8 years old and diagnosed with a severe case of austism, so he is very hard to control. We live in flushing queens so anywhere around that area would be great.

Weekends are rough-most daycares are only open M-F

In my are the ARC has Respite programs on weekends

Are you registered with teh division of developmental disabilities-they may be able to help you with resources

also call your state and county disability services office.

You may have more luck hiring a college student form teh area to come to your home-he may need 1:1 supervision.
