What are some good describing words for stories?

I love to write stories and i need heaps of uncanny, original, exciting words. Please help.

The only thing to do is to read more to expand your vocabulary and buy a decent Thesaurus and dictionary.  You could have used the word "adjective",  for a describing word. I'm assuming that you are a young person so good for you for wanting to improve yourself!

Don't try to be too cute with "original" words.

Use a variety of adjectives which relate to the 5 senses. This conveys a comprehensive picture to the reader.
